Dr. Ryan Colley was born in Medford and raised in the Rogue Valley. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Oregon State University where he graduated cum laude with honors. He left Oregon to attend medical school at Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine where he finished in the top 10 percent of his class. He spent 5 years in Columbus, Ohio completing a residency in orthopedic surgery at Ohio University. Here he studied all fields of orthopedics including trauma, joint replacement, sports medicine, pediatrics, and hand surgery. Shoulder and elbow surgery is his real passion and he completed a fellowship with world renowned surgeon Jonathan Levy in Fort Lauderdale. He focuses on all aspects of upper extremity joint replacement, reconstruction, trauma, and arthroscopy. During this time, he also studied sports medicine of the knee and obtained certification in robotic assisted total knee replacement. He has authored a number of publications and book chapters. He takes a holistic approach to improve the quality of life for his patients.

In his free time, Dr. Colley enjoys time with his wife and two children. They love to hike, fish, snowboard, and travel.
